How we research

We're upfront about our method: we do not claim to have personally tested every product we cover. Instead, every guide is built on data you could check yourself, pulled together so you don't have to.

1. Specifications, normalized

We collect manufacturer specs (dimensions, capacity, power, materials, warranty) and put them in the same units so products can be compared side by side.

2. Price history

We look at how a product's price has moved over time, so we can tell you whether a "deal" is real and what a fair price looks like.

3. What owners actually report

We analyze large volumes of verified-owner feedback, with extra weight on longer-term and critical reports, to find recurring strengths and failure points. We summarize patterns in our own words and never republish reviews.

4. Editorial review

Every guide is checked for accuracy, completeness and usefulness before publishing, and updated when products, prices or the evidence change.

We don't accept payment or free products in exchange for coverage. We earn affiliate commissions on some purchases; see our disclosure.
